3.  On a very windy day of golf, Shiela marks her ball on the putting green with a coin.  However, she does not lift the ball, but rather leaves it on the putting green in order to read her putt from the other side of the hole.  A sudden gust of wind picks up and moves her ball five feet farther from the hole. 4.  Mae and Gert are partners in a 4-ball stroke play competition. On the 8th hole
Mae's ball comes to rest two feet below the hole.  Gert is chipping from above the hole and asks Mae to leave her ball on the putting green so she(Gert) can use the ball as a backstop.  Mae acknowledges the request, does not mark the ball, and Gert
hits the chip shot.  What is the ruling?
       A. Gert incurs a two stroke penalty for making the request.  B.  Mae will incur
a two stroke penalty only if Gert's ball actually collides with Mae's.  C.  The side is penalized two strokes.  D. Gert and Mae should be disqualified from the competition.
